Really pleased with this commission. Made for a former member of the parachute regiment whose son is currently serving in the regiment. The blade is a camp knife style and so a great general purpose shape which doubles as a great cooking or BBQ blade .

SF100 steel, hand finished to 1000 grit satin with grey G10 liners which had the addition of blue and maroon G10 liners, the blue and maroon of the regiment.


Recently finished, a lovely burl handled piece in 52100 bearing steel. Sheathed in black by Gaz Kendall.

Love the blue grey G10 handle, looks great with the orange liners and black carbon fibre pins.

This is my Fortis L model, ground to a full flat with hand sanded flats to a satin finish. Complete with a superb black sheath that has blue stitching as made by Gaz Kendall of Stealth Hippy Bushcraft.

Another Secare L finished in Elmax and available.
Swedish powder steel thats at the top of the tree where knife steel is concerned, a sod to work but worth it as it holds such great edges.

250mm long with a 145mm blade, full@flat grind with a satin finish. Mirror honed to an 18 degree secondary bevel. Crazy sharp !

Handled in Olive green Raffir composite embedded with copper. This stuff glows in the dark with an eerie green glow .

A knife with a twist!

This is the knife I presented to Peter Eaton the head chef of the Woodspeen .

So what’s the twist you might ask? Well the knife was made by myself Peter Eaton, and has nickel silver pins as supplied by Peter Eaton the clarinet maker, to be used by Peter Eaton the chef.

Clearly a case of ‘three degrees of separation’ 😉

The knife is a full tang chef grind from AEB-L to a full flat, handled in black G10 with bright red G10 liners . And completed with the two nickel silver pins.

My donation to Combat Stress this year, this SF100 full tang chef knife. Ground to a full flat with a mirror 15 degree secondary bevel , sharp as a razor!

The handle is stabilised quilted Mango wood with the colours of Combat Stress incorporated into it. Even the handle pins have a story as are supplied by Peter Eaton the clarinet maker, they are made from the same nickel silver he uses in his clarinets.
