I’ve been a bit quiet on here for a few weeks, I’ve spent some time revamping the storage in the studio, so much butter use of the space now, good old ‘Billy’ from IKEA 😜 I’ve also been designing some exciting new ideas for seasonal kits, will be revealing more next week.

New to the website this afternoon, The printed Linen for ‘The Arts & Craft Garden’ this is great if you love our designs but want to use your own threads and colour choice.
The listing is for the background fabric only, wools, instructions and needles are included in the main kit.

We saw this 19th century display cabinet in an antique shop a few weeks ago, It reminds me of ‘The Curio Cabinet’

I have discontinued the kit ‘Butterfly Harvest’ and all kits are now sold. I do however have 10 printed Linen backgrounds left which are now available at a sale price of £10.00 originally £22.00 ( just the printed linen, no instructions, wools or picture are included )

Brand new to the website this week ‘The Curio Cabinet’ Inspired by 17th century Cabinets of Curiosity and my own collection of Nautiluses. A fun little kit with a digitally printed background and of course Appleton wools.

I love these birds so much I designed a kit and wrote a blog about them, great characters haha.

What inspires you? I often get asked this question, it’s hard to define, but in the case of “Erica’s Perch” that’s easy, when I studied at the RSN my lodgings had a bird table in the garden and to my surprise one day Ring Neck Parakeets started visiting it, I’d watch with amusement them ...
