Happy Earth Day 2023! 🌍 There is no time like the present to appreciate the beauty and magnificence of our tiny planet that we call home and take action to protect it.

Head to earthday.org to see what events are happening near you, and how to get involved in this years theme “invest in our planet”

Some ways we can do this:

🌳 Plant trees: For every pack of perla sold, one tree is planted with , or you can visit them directly to plan your own for just £1!

Let’s talk footprints..🦶
The new IPCC climate science report shows our current regulations will lead to worse warming than previously thought 😰 The good news is we CAN still limit warming to 1.5C by rapidly reducing our carbon footprints. It’s EARTH DAY today! This is a day for us to reflect on the current state of the climate crisis and think of the changes we can make and actions we can take to help Restore Our Earth 🌍

Here are some of our top ways to celebrate today:

🌎Take part in the education revolution: Share resources - on your socials, with your family and friends, colleagues - let them know what’s going on and why it’s important.

🌎Reduce your foodprint - make extra effort to eat local produce today! And maybe make some longer term plans to eat more sustainably - check out the foodprint calculators here: https://www.earthday.org/foodprints-calculators/

🌎Make your plastic reduction plan - use the plastic calculator here https://www.earthday.org/plastic-pollution-calculator-2/ and work out exactly how you can reduce your plastic pollution footprint from this day onward!
