We’re currently looking for somebody new to join our production team here at Hand on Heart Jewellery.

This is a hands-on role within a small, close-knit business where no two days ever look exactly the same. One moment you might be operating engraving machinery or finishing jewellery, the next you could be managing orders through our workflow system or preparing pieces ready for dispatch.

No jewellery experience is needed - we’ll teach you everything product-related.

What matters most is that you’re organised, comfortable with technology, quick to learn, and take real pride in doing things properly. Every piece we create represents somebody important to our customers, so care, accuracy, and attention to detail genuinely matter here.

This role could be a really great fit for somebody who’s just finished A Levels or university and is looking for a long-term career opportunity - or equally somebody looking for a complete change into something more varied, hands-on and rewarding.

The role would suit someone who enjoys varied work, likes structure and process, and wants to be part of a supportive team creating work that means something.

📍 Penrith, Cumbria (CA11)
⏰ Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
✨ 6 weeks paid holiday, rising to 7 weeks after 24 months
✨ Free parking
✨ A very well-stocked kitchen
✨ Regular team celebrations, food days, and plenty of snacks along the way

"My dad, my Hero.

He suffered from 3 strokes in his late 40s, lost his ability to talk but was a fighter and never gave up. He overcame everything life through at him. Every time he asked why he was still here and I said the world just wasn't ready to let him go.

5 years later he grew his wings and I was not ready for it. I'm glad he was no longer suffering, but I was not ready to say goodbye.

My then fiance chose a necklace with his ashes in for a gift on our wedding day, so he could still walk me down the aisle.

It's a piece of jewellery I will treasure forever."
