Where printing wins: Cat bought a set of ikea drawers at a car boot this morning but it only has one "foot" if we were to buy a replacement set, we would have to either buy online and wait days or go to ikea and hope they carry spares. Instead it takes about an hour to print 4

A U.S. Marine Corps news release said Lance Cpl. Eirick Schule developed a 3D-printed replacement for the Mobile User Objective System antenna mast after identifying frequent breakage across units. The original fiberglass mast often required replacing the entire $5,644 assembly with delivery times exceeding seven months.

Marines with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines tested the new mast during a monthlong field exercise and confirmed it functioned as intended. The Marine Corps said the $10 part has been produced 107 times, saving an estimated $600,000 and more than 60 years of combined supply wait time.

Anyway, I'm still printing things: this is my first project I'm doing for my machine at work to prevent ink from spilling on the floor.
