Today’s updates for donations for Shipdham Primary School ⭐️

I am donating 10% off all sales to the Friends of Shipdham School GoFundMe after the fire on Thursday caused severe damage.

Today we received £231 in sales which makes our donation £23.10

We also received some tips, and 100% all off tips are being donated. We received £11.00 in tips

That makes today’s donation a total of £35 (rounded up)

Hi everyone,

On Thursday, while I was sorting through new stock in my garden building, I received the heartbreaking news that my little girl’s wonderful primary school was on fire.

After everything our Elsie has been through, this school has been absolutely amazing for her and has become such an important part of our family’s life. ❤️

Sadly, the damage is extensive. Seeing the photos and videos since the fire has made us realise that things are much worse than we first feared.

The response from our local community has already been incredible, with so many people reaching out to the Friends of Shipdham School asking how they can donate, volunteer and support the school as it begins to recover.

As a small business, I want to do my part too.

**I’ll be donating 10% of all sales to the school’s GoFundMe to help towards the costs of rebuilding and recovering from the fire.** ❤️

The Friends of Shipdham School have started a GoFundMe to support the school following the devastating fire yesterday. ❤️

This is my little girl’s school, and sadly it has been severely damaged. At the moment, it’s believed that at least three classrooms have been lost due to the extent of the damage, although a full assessment is still to take place.

While the school does have insurance, there will inevitably be things that aren’t covered — including teachers’ and staff members’ personal belongings, resources that teachers have bought themselves for their classrooms, and all those little extras that help make the school such a special place for the children.

It’s heartbreaking to see this happen to a school that means so much to so many families in our community.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would be hugely appreciated. And if you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing the fundraiser would mean just as much and could help it reach someone who can. ❤️

Every donation and every share will help the school community as they begin to recover and rebuild.

Our local carpenter Dan from D Hatchett Carpentry came to our rescue and fixed my very old & very awkward garden building door!

I can finally shut the door without fear of being locked in the shed and having to be rescued 🤣 yes that happened!
