Today I had the loveliest surprise, catching up with the talented Simona, the creative mind behind our new ECBEAUTYLAB rebrand and logo.

I have to be honest, I am not the easiest client to work with. I know exactly what I want, and I change my mind more than I probably should. Simona took all of that in her stride with so much patience and turned my scattered ideas into something I actually love.

She handed me a flash drive with professional photography of all my products, and alongside it a beautiful little booklet explaining the logo and the whole brand story. Such a lovely surprise, and such a thoughtful touch.

She listened to every single requirement, understood the vision for the brand and delivered work that felt truly personal to ECBEAUTYLAB. Genuinely one of the most talented young designers I have come across, and I could not recommend her enough.

Thank you Simona, you have outdone yourself.

We've been working quietly behind the scenes on our new leave in conditioner, and it's nearly ready to meet you. Think softer strands, less frizz, and that weightless glide you've been asking us for.
Smooth It is coming soon to ECBEAUTYLAB. Sulfate free, silicone free, naturally derived, and made the way everything we create is made, with care.

Happy 2nd birthday to ECBEAUTYLAB ❤️

Two years. Two very different sets of photos. And honestly, it took putting them side by side to let myself actually feel proud of that.

I'm one of those people who never thinks what I've done is enough. I look at how far there still is to go, not how far I've come. But some of these photos were taken at 2am, 3am — working long after everyone else had gone to bed, because that's often the only time there is. Between the kids, my family, caring for my dad, my other job, and trying to still have a life somewhere in there — it doesn't always go to plan. Some days you don't want to do it. Some days you give yourself a "day off" and spend the whole time thinking about everything you still need to do anyway.

Running your own business is a 24/7 job. It's not easy. But it is possible.

Am I where I want to be with this brand yet? No, not even close. But looking back at these photos reminded me — what I've built isn't small. And I will get to where I'm going. Definitely.

To every woman out there fighting for something of her own — please don't give up. The best is still coming. And please, give yourself the credit and the rest you deserve. You've earned both.
