When it comes to reducing our impact on the environment, Party On Up has been a leader for over 15 years. This means offering to recycle or repurpose every balloon we sell, never knowingly supporting balloon releases (and the difficult conversations around that), and advising our customers on how to make their investment in balloons last longer. We take back unwanted balloon weights, strip them down and create new weights; and we do our best to source quality balloons available with a lower environmental impact. Having fun need not cost the earth.
We don’t stop thinking about how we can be better, and how we can enable our customers to make better choices. That’s why, as a trial in August, we will endeavour to only sell floating balloons with a weight - so avoiding accidentally letting balloons go. We respect customers often have something in mind to tie their balloon to, or a weight at home they didn’t bring with them, but this leaves a risk between store and home they may accidentally be let go. So, if you don’t buy an arrangement with a weight included, or even a single balloon with no weight, we will supply a temporary transport weight for FREE. We ask if you can return it to us, at some point, so we can create a new weight from it and keep costs down - this way we can keep the trial going and not increase a single price as a result.
So, this trial will cost our customers nothing extra, will cost us a little, but can make a big difference to our environment and wildlife. We think that is definitely worth it.
