This absolute stunner of a dress is from the iconic brand Poppy, known for its focus on border prints, was a brand born in 1980 and was known in the UK as being unique and different. Their colourful and bold prints became firm favourites with parents and fans of the brand have held onto their Poppy dresses for over two generations.
The fabric was printed locally, and Stephanie & Michael, the owners, employed many seamstresses, and cutters to deal with the orders, all of which worked above the Strickland & Holt shop in Yarm, which still exists to this day.
A charming and delightful vintage gem that is immaculate and truly beautiful.
