Vintage Writing Desk

Perfect for any home working office, or simply a stand alone statement piece for any room.

This classic writing desk is in excellent condition and probably dates back to the 1950’s. It has been transformed , combining traditional build with a modern rustic finish which is both functional and stylish.

The exterior has been refinished in Frenchic “Salt of the Earth” which is a gorgeous neutral “greige” colour. The three lockable drawers have been given a rustic wood grain effect. The lockable drop down compartment offers a generous working space, perfect for a laptop. All the drawers have been stencilled for a “peek a boo” effect.

For contrast, the interior is finished in Frenchic “Smudge” which is a bluey grey colour. The pigeon holes have been finished in the same colour as the exterior, with added gold accents. She is embellished with gold script artwork from Re-design with Prima.

The inside has a Spacious felt mat allowing smooth gliding of the mouse and gives a comfortable resting surface whilst writing, typing or gaming.

Another fab Ercol sideboard given a modern twist. I love the quality of this furniture. Solid Elm wood. You don’t come across furniture of this quality these days. Refurbished and hand painted with Frenchic Salt of the Earth. A gorgeous ‘Greige’ neutral colour.
