Well after four long days of harvest and processing we now have all our Honey safely stored away ready to put into jars this weekend
We have had a total harvest of 509.2 lb of honey and managed to process 56lb of wax so Mrs Bee Reyt can start making candles , A massive Thankyou to the following people for making the 2026 season a massive success , Jen, Sophie ,Andy , Colin ,Rick , with an assist from Ian and Deborah, team work makes the dream work , now starts the preparation for the 2027 season 😉 more hives , more honey , more fun and games

And this was basically me and Andy last friday. Big thank you everyone that has helped out this season. I have to say, apart from the bad back , swarms , missing queens , wasps , and being stung, it been an amazing year. Now lets get the girls ready for winter so I can spend some time with Mrs Bee Reyt

So the harvest has begun and after a rather long day Friday getting the supers home, the honey extraction equipment is ramped up so we can get it into jars by next week. All good things etc
