🧡Alzheimer's Research UK Challenge update🧡

Its now day 23! Ive just finished night shifts and after a little sleep I decided to get on with accessorising our twiddle m**fs and fidget mats and so far have managed to now have 7 finished items in total!

Despite my recent shifts I've still been making sure to crochet each day and have actually spent most of that time making a couple more mats and another twiddle m**f, along with some of the accessories I've been sewing on! 🪡

Only just over a week left to go now so I'm going to try and get all of the bits already made finished and if I can make some more! 💕

💕Blankets💕

Ive recently finished making this baby blanket as a gift to some wonderful parents to-be and I love how its turned out 😍

This particular blanket is made in super soft baby DK yarn and I designed it to have a bit of pretty pink heart detailing running through with some lovely subtle texture with the beige and white and then finished off with a pink border. Delicate, pretty, cosy and one of a kind 🥰

This finished blanket measures around 48x48 inches.

Blankets can be made to order in any colours, yarn type (for different thicknesses), sizes and styles, whether as a gift for a new arrival or a loved one, for a bed or a sofa, or just a treat for yourself ❤️

Custom orders will be priced individually depending on style, yarn type and desired finished size. When discussing or placing an order I will provide an estimated production time 🧶

🧡Alzheimer's Research UK Challenge🧡

Day 18 and despite a super busy past few days Ive still made sure to crochet every day!

I wanted to share the first completely finished twiddle m**f, with a few bits also added to some mats, so despite some of the sewing taking a little longer than I anticipated (always the case with sewing!) Slowly bits are getting finished and ready to be donated! 💕

This one was made with some textured stitches and then accessories with buttons, ribbons and crocheted flowers, hopefully being perfect to bring a little comfort in a moment of anxiousness 🥰

With just under two weeks left I'm still trying to make and get finished as much as I can to donate and I just wanted to say thank you again for every bit of supoort for this wonderful cause 🧡

🧡Alzheimer's Research UK Challenge update🧡

Its now day 13 and I've been stuck to the challenge, crocheting my donation items each day!

We're currently up to 7 twiddle m**fs and 3 fidget mats all ready to have the finishing touches added! Ive also spent some time making some more flowers today too 🌸

Ive loved making everything so far, and tomorrow I plan to start adding some accessories to some of the twiddle m**fs to get show them properly finished!

I want these to be just a few of what will be donated at the end of this challenge, so I'm going to try and make as many more as possible for the rest of the month!

💫 Alzheimers Research UK Challenge update 💫

Its day 10 and one of my only proper days off so far this month (still have stuck to crocheting every day!) And so Ive been busy this morning finishing off my third twiddle m**f and fidget mat, both now ready for ribbons, bows and other little bits to be added! Im planning on getting lots of the basic bits done first before starting to go back and add the finishing touches then tidy everything up 💕

Ive also started making some of the things that'll be sewn on to the m**fs and mats - some spirals, flowers and triangles (will will be added with a button so they can be buttoned up and undone).

With 21 days still to go Im hoping to get a LOT more done and can't wait to start adding all the extras to each thing to see them all really come together!

🧡 March is here which means the challenge of crocheting every day to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK has started! 🧡

Yes I know its now the 6th and so I'm a few days late, however I PROMISE I have stuck to the challenge and crocheted every day!

I started the month off on night shifts, however have made sure to make the effort to still get some crocheting done! I've spent a little time finishing off a baby blanket as a gift and have now started on my Alzheimer and Domentia patients donation items!

So far I've made 2 twiddle m**fs and am now starting on the base for a twiddle mat. I've got lots of buttons, ribbons and other accessories (in addition to some extra bits I plan on crocheting such as flowers), that will be added to the mats, m**fs and all other items 🥰

Please if anyone knows someone living with Alzheimers/Dementia and would like an item for them then let me know, items can be picked from what I've already got at the time or specially made with specific accessories and colours! These will be completely free of charge, however my donation page for the event is still running and so if you'd feel like making a donation then every penny is appreciated 🧡🧡

I'll continue to post updates (and be more timely about it from now on! 😂) 💕
