🚨🥔🍟 This weekend is the Spud Man Rugeley event.

We will be on the market square with lots of blind date with a book, our “perks bar” along with all our reading accessories like The bat boys, embroidered hats (which are having the first outing)

Plus so much more.

And… we may do a book hunt!

Shall we do a book hunt? Let me know in the comments if you want to try find a free book, let me know the genre we should pick.

Well the shop is looking so much better.

Did you know we stocked fellow small bookish businesses?

Today we introduce another one, the amazing Literature Stitches.
Embroidered bookish clothing and bags.

We also stock a lot more for the Merch, I’m going to introduce all the business over the coming days.

We’ve got good news and not so good news.

Our merch pod which was located next to the bookshop just wasn’t working.

So we’ve decided to move everything back in to mix with the book, as it should be.

We’ve also go a fantastic bookish business joining us today.. so watch out later and on the stores for more about that.

So all The Bookery is back in one space, we’re full, exciting and we have some fantastic small bookish business on board.

What does it mean to have a hidden disability?

I know a lot of people know I got diagnosed with blood cancer, it’s why I went full throttle on the shop.
However I don’t talk about my health issues, from the cancer to fibromyalgia and mental health.

Just because I have a disability doesn’t mean I can’t work, it just means it’s a little different.

The heat can affect me, doing to much can too.. and if you know me, you know I try not to let it stop me. Somedays it does, this week has been one of those weeks.

Having a hidden disability doesn’t mean I can’t work towards my goals and dreams.

Busy preparing for the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust, Brownhills canal festival, which is this weekend.

We are bringing plenty of blind date with a book, lots of book handbags and so much more.

Well, the Sun and the moon certainly put a show on.
Absolutely stunning views, we went up to Cannock Chase.
