The Bouquet!

When the brief is bold blooms, fun and vibrant, you know it’s going to be a good one.

This bouquet was such a joy to create the colour, the texture and those absolutely beautiful Dahlias, locally grown by the wonderful Tangle & Wild.

This Tutti Frutti inspired bridal bouquet really did make me smile.
Bold, playful and full of personality exactly what this beautiful wedding called for.

All weddings begin in the studio. 🤍

Calm, peaceful (even in the summer holidays!) the perfect beginning to the floral journey, and honestly, my favourite part.

Analysing every stem and selecting only the best for the bridal bouquet.

Conditioning, organising and preparing every little detail for the days ahead.

Because when it comes to wedding flowers, preparation is everything.

A huge part of the finished result you see on the wedding day begins right here in the workshop, in the few days leading up to your special day.

It’s the quiet work behind the scenes that helps bring the vision to life. 🌿✨

Studio day... my favourite, as we all know! 🤍

Today has been all about creating beautiful dried floral pieces for our local school fete this Saturday.

I couldn't resist making one extra special piece too a big, beautiful everlasting wreath on a gorgeous wicker base, and she's an absolute stunner! ✨

I can't wait for you all to see everything this weekend.

Captured moments 'The set up'

Each of these captured moments reflects friendship built from the ground up, both metaphorically and literally.

Over two wonderful days at Chichester Cathedral, Sam and I worked on her stunning installation, surrounded by an incredible community of florists and creatives.

Many were people I'd admired from afar, only ever knowing their work through social media.

Others (you know who you are), Ive learnt from and admired as freinds and fellow florists.

What struck me most was the atmosphere throughout the cathedral.

There was a genuine sense of connection, kindness, and contentment.

Compliments flowed freely, admiration for one another's work was abundant, and everyone celebrated the creativity unfolding around them.

These photographs are just a few snippets of those moments moments of collaboration, encouragement, and shared passion.

It's easy to focus on the flowers, but what I'll remember most is the people behind them.

Two unforgettable days at Chichester Cathedral.

'Light at Dawn'

Festival of Flowers, Chichester Cathedral.

It was an absolute privilege to work alongside Sam at Mamma's That Flower on her stunning installation, Light at Dawn.

Inspired by the transition from darkness into light, Sam's vision was both powerful and beautiful, creating a piece that felt perfectly at home within the breathtaking setting of Chichester Cathedral.

As florists, we're fortunate to spend our days creating beauty with flowers, but opportunities to be part of events like this feel especially meaningful.

To contribute to something that inspires so many visitors is both humbling and rewarding.
Sam was invited to exhibit alongside an incredible collection of talented local florists, each bringing their own unique creativity to this wonderful celebration of flowers.

The festival itself was beautifully curated and managed by the equally talented Caroline Dains of Nordic Twigs, whose passion and vision brought together a truly memorable event.

I'm so grateful to have played a small part in such a special couple of days.

LWC Brighton’s gorgeous dried wreath

✨ One of my absolute favourite things to create for clients.

Set on this beautiful wicker base, the soft pastel tones will sit perfectly against the striking blue entrance door of the clinic, creating the loveliest welcome for everyone who visits.

St James and St Peters fundraiser

This ones not flower related but its to good to miss!

Every so often, you witness something that truly warms your heart and leaves you smiling from ear to ear.

Holmbush Primary Academy invited me along to capture moments from their incredible Colour Run an event full of energy, joy, and community spirit.

All of it in support of St Peter’s & St James Hospice, making it even more meaningful.

I wanted to share a few snippets, because I couldn’t be prouder of the parents and teachers who make these experiences possible, and of the little ones who bring all the magic. ✨

The team are lovely, such a warm and calm environment.

It felt right to create a light, elegant meadow style design.

Behind the scenes

The final chapter of Alicia’s floristry course and one that never fails to captivate.

Set within an Old Tudor house, soft light pours through the windows, casting a gentle glow that lends itself to the most beautifully natural imagery.

Here, the students transform the space, bringing a fairytale vision to life through their floral designs each arrangement a reflection of everything they’ve learned, thoughtfully composed and quietly enchanting.

I loved capturing the students on their floral design journey, how beautiful are these captures!
