I was so stoked when Rachel Clark agreed to this collaboration!

I’d been following her for a while - as a parent of three neurodivergent kids, I find her eloquence and advocacy about the autistic experience inspiring and so crucial.

When she posted a poem about her assistance dog Cruz, I knew immediately I wanted to create a custom book for her that she could treasure always.

Her words speak so much to young people everywhere whose lives have been transformed by their assistance dogs.

Our family is no different - Snow our goofy assistance dog has changed everything.

It means so much to create something that honours these amazing, loving, daft and life saving creatures ❤️🐾

We couldn’t live without Snow in so many ways. She’s an assistance dog, yes, but mostly our goofy, sock eating scamp of a best friend. ❤️🐾

It’s hard to put into words the difference she makes. Things that were once impossible - simple things like going to the shops, catching a movie or heading out to the park- are now accessible to us because we have her.

Forever grateful to have her in our lives (even though we have to guard the socks!) ❤️❤️

It’s national assistance dog week and i want to share a thank you to our fabulous Snow, who’s training to become an autism assistance dog.

We are training her to assist our daughter, but she gives us so much more than ‘assistance’.

Thank you, our gorgeous sock eating, plant stealing, slobberer; our goofy sweet heart, for being so much more than an assistance dog. ❤️🐾

I know every assistance dog owner feels the same ❤️
