🚫 NOT FOR SALE! #1 🚫

One of the questions we hear most often at League HQ is..."Is that for sale?"

We're afraid not! 😊

This lovely old Codeg toy till has earned its place on our sales counter and, although it isn't for sale, it gets almost as much attention as the handmade treasures around it.

Children love discovering it, adults usually stop in their tracks and say, "I had one of those!"...before immediately pressing every button to see if it still works. (Don't worry, you're definitely not the first! 😂)

It's one of the many little vintage treasures that have found a home at League HQ. They might not be for sale, but they all have a story to tell, and they seem to unlock plenty of memories too.

🍪 LEAGUE DEBATE #1 🍪

After working together at Made at No.16 for nearly 2½ years, we've finally stumbled across the one topic that could make or break our friendships and the shop altogether! 😂

The Great Biscuit Debate!

Naturally, our League Members couldn't agree 🙄

🍫 Ally has gone full luxury with a chocolate-covered custard cream. (We always suspected she was a bit posh! 😉)

🥮 Nina has chosen the dependable shortbread. A solid choice for a proper stable tea dunk.

🍫 Charlie has come from left-field with a strong contender - the Bourbon!!

🍫 Victoria is needing all of the sugar rush to keep her awake for the night feeds so is going all in with the triple chocolate chunk cookie!

🍫 Sue is championing the underrated chocolate-covered malted milk. A true hidden gem.

🍪 Nicky is proudly flying the flag for the mighty Digestive. No fuss, no nonsense, just a proper biscuit.

💗 Stacey has gone for the delightfully nostalgic Pink Wafer. Proof that sometimes life is just better with a biscuit that's 90% air and impossible to eat without leaving a trail of pink crumbs behind. 😂

🤷‍♂️ Garry, however, completely ignored the rules (as per usual) and chose...

✔ Custard Creams

✔ Garibaldis

✔ Fig Rolls

Apparently choosing one favourite was simply too much commitment. 😂

Which brings us to another very important question...🤔 Is a Fig Roll actually a biscuit?

League HQ remains divided.

🚨 LEAGUE HQ CELEBRATION 🚨

Well, somehow there are now 🎉 501 of you! 🎉

(We're particularly intrigued by the 501st person...imagine joining a page only to find yourself immediately mentioned in a post! 😂)

When we started sharing little snippets of life at Made at No.16, we never imagined so many of you would want to come along for the ride.

Thank you for laughing at our daft jokes, silly games, for putting up with the occasional social media gremlin...and thank you for supporting our wonderful League of Extraordinary Makers. ❤️

Whether you've visited us in the shop, bought something handmade, or simply enjoy following the nonsense that seems to happen at League HQ every week, thank you for being part of it.
