Only 5 days to go... and Shoreham has somehow managed to pack FIVE great reasons to visit into one Saturday! 😄

🛍️ Fancy a bargain? Start at the Adur Recreation Ground Car Boot Sale (from 7am).

🥐 Feeling hungry? Wander over to the award-winning Shoreham Farmers' Market for coffee, cakes and all those delicious things you definitely weren't planning to buy.

🎶 Then head to Shoreham Record Fair (10am–2pm) at The Shoreham Centre, where 29 sellers will be filling 45 tables with thousands of vinyl records, CDs and music treasures.

📸 New for this event: Enter the very first Shoreham Record Fair Photography Competition! Capture your favourite moments during the fair, share them on Facebook or Instagram and tag Shoreham Record Fair (or email your entry). The best photos will win record vouchers to spend at the next Shoreham Record Fair.

🎪 Before you head home, why not pop into the Grand Opening & Family Fun Day of the brand-new Guardians 4 Kenyan Kids UK Charity Shop (opposite B&Q), with live music, great food, local stalls and family fun – all while supporting a fantastic charity?

Whether you're searching for that elusive first pressing, replacing an old favourite, or simply enjoying a good rummage through the crates, it's a great way to spend a Saturday.

Think you've got an eye for a great photo? Time to prove it!

I'm delighted to launch the first-ever Shoreham Record Fair Photo Competition, with records and CDs up for grabs!

🎯 Your mission (should you choose to accept it...)

Take your favourite photo inside the Shoreham Record Fair on Saturday, 8th August.

Capture whatever catches your eye:
💿 The crate diggers on a mission.
🎵 A gorgeous album cover.
😄 Happy shoppers showing off their latest find.
📷 Or simply the atmosphere that makes record fairs such great places to be.

If it captures the spirit of the day, I want to see it!

Not exactly a lifetime's supply of vinyl... but enough to make your collection a little bit happier!

🗳️ How the winner is chosen

After the fair, I'll pick my 30 favourite photos, then you get to decide the winners with a public vote.

Once the votes are in, I'll contact the lucky photographers, who can treat themselves to some records or CDs by spending their prize at my stall at the next Shoreham Record Fair on 17th October.

Here's your escape plan: the Shoreham Record Fair on Saturday 8th August (10am–2pm).

We keep a few tables aside for first-timers ready to send their pre-loved treasures off to new homes. No trader tricks, no side-eye from vinyl veterans; just a 6ft table, your boxes and a room full of people who get genuinely excited about liner notes.

Bring records, CDs, tapes, 78s, band shirts, music books, turntables… all welcome.

🎟️ £25 a table.
🎟️ Zero pressure, maximum crate-digging camaraderie.
🎟️ A brilliant excuse to have a sort-out.

Your records have had a good run. Let someone else fall in love with them.
