I’m somewhere completely magical and feeling rested for the first time in longer than I care to remember.
We’re halfway through our summer adventure and my mind is slowly turning back to the field and flowers waiting for me on my return. I’m hopeful there’ll be beautiful roses like this ready to fill buckets.
I’m writing this surrounded by the chatter of grape pickers carrying on the wind, rolling hills of vines as far as the eye can see, and I’ll admit to a little envy — wishing I was out there with them, picking their bountiful harvest that’s only just beginning. Though the pool behind me, half hidden in the vines, has its own quiet pull.
Honesty Flowers has always been the field and the flowers to most of you. But it’s also this — the noticing, the wandering, the things that feed how I grow and how I see. So tell me: would you like a little more of this here too, or keep this account just about the flowers?
