When I got a call asking if I could do wedding flowers for the only wedding being held at Woodoaks Farm this year, I knew it would be a great celebration to be a part of. This couple were an absolute delight to work with, and it was wonderful to see them and all their loved ones enjoying the farm for such a special occasion.

The Dahlias and Zinnias are just getting going, to celebrate I have added two evening Pick Your Own sessions, which is a lovely time of day to enjoy the flower farm.

Last weekend we had our first hand tied bouquet workshop on the farm, which was a wonderful morning of guests touring the flower farm, then picking a bucket full of flowers, before I demonstrated how to create a spiral hand tied bouquet, and offering any guidance to the participants if needed.

I always love having people on the flower farm enjoying the flowers we have grown, but it was particularly nice seeing how proud everyone was with their creations as they finished the workshop.

2027 diary open for Wedding & Event flowers.

My favourite thing to do is curate buckets of flowers for anyone wanting to celebrate a special moment with seasonal British flowers. I love talking to the customers about the look and feel they are after, what colours they like, any specific flowers that might have a special meaning to them and bringing it all together in beautiful buckets of locally grown, sustainable flowers, for them to enjoy creating with.

If you have a special event next year please do get in touch, I would love to grow some stunning flowers specifically for you 😊

A little snippet of what we are cutting this week on the flower farm during British Flower Week.

This week is all about championing British flowers and those that work through all the challenges to produce these beautiful, seasonal and sustainable flowers for our local communities.

Wedding season kicked of last weekend here, however I was so in the moment I didn't take any proper photos.
This weekend however popped down to the farm to capture this weekends wonderfully colourful wedding flowers.
Here we have the bridal bouquet and mixed seasonal buckets for the wedding party to arrange at their venue, I can't wait to see what they created.
