Insane work from john that coating is 😍😍😍

JC Racing Products has been forging ahead, and we’re excited to finally share sample versions of our pre-cut and pre-drilled Long Arm chassis, designed for JC Racing Products and RPM components.

We won’t lie, this one’s been a mission. From perfecting the chassis shape and pressing process to dialing in the final finish, a huge amount of time and effort has gone into getting this just right. A sleek underbelly with minimal holes, combined with a highly rigid tub, delivers excellent strength and durability, making this chassis as practical as it is beautiful.

As always, we aim to offer something a little different, and we think this one really delivers. Finished in a limited-edition Luxury Nickel Plated coating, the result is simply stunning.

The chassis is offered as a complete kit, including:

A stripped and colour-matched JConcepts truck front nose plate

A stripped and colour-matched JConcepts honeycomb
motor plate

Nickel-plated nose tubes to match

Well I guess we were over due a wet Rivival and oh my did it rain. This will certainly go down in history as one of the wettest and muddiest Rivivals ever. Driving conditions were extremely difficult but boy did we have fun.

Both cars preformed flawlessly all weekend and I managed to finish 14th in 2wd, just missing the a final and 7th in 4wd.

Although we all go to compete, the real highlight of any iconic rc event is meeting up with mates. We always have a good time in and around the pits and sometimes a little to much fun in the pub 🍺🍺🍺
There’s not many hobbies where you can get an advantage by buying your closest competitors a few pints the night before 😂

I’m fortunate to have done many rivivals and ozwestry 2025 has been up there with the best. Thanks to John Weston, he has become a hero of mine over the years for what he has done for our hobby and more importantly what he has done for Parkinson’s UK raising thousands of pounds over the years. Vintage racing in the UK certainly wouldn’t be the same without his input.

Oswestry ran a flawless weekend and the track held up very well considering the weather.

this past weekend I attended the Modelsport Vintage Masters Events at RHR
It was brilliant weekend arranged by Paul Kemp Simon muz and the Robin Hood Raceway gang.
The event was ran on the Schumacher honeycomb tyres, this was a first for me on astro and I was blown away by the grip, consistency and lack of tyre wear.
As I was new to the tyres it took me some time Friday to get the cars working as I like them but eventually got them dialed in.

With the all new lightning components super long wheelbase mid I managed to qualify 4th. After the three leg finals I finished 4th a result I was very happy with against some real fast competition. Congratulations to Paul Field on taking the win with his weapon of an 870c

The assosiated b3 was a challenge to drive from the get go I made several changes throughout the day but it remained difficult to drive. Due to its short wheelbase keeping the front wheels on the ground was a challange. Even with these difficulties I managed to qualify 6th and finish 7th after loosing a place to the all might Paul Brightwell after he smoked me going down the straight in a drag race 😂.
Had some wonderful battles throughout the three leg finals with driving standards through the roof.

As always we go to these events for the racing but the true highlights are meeting up with friends new and old from all over the country and having a good old laugh. We often have just as much fun in the pits and camping (often with a few beers involved) as we do on the track.

Another highlight to my weekend was witnessing a young man’s first time racing. Elliot had been on the race track before but never in a race situation. His race day stated off a little shakey as the nerves got to him but by the end of round one his confidence had hit an all time high. He drove like a true champion trying his best to avoid accidents and linking up some really difficult features and corners. He was certainly thrown in the deep end with some competition that would make most experienced drivers quake in thair boots. It’s really important that we get kids into our much loved hobby so it can continue long into the future.

Coventry Rc car club is alive and certainly kicking. It’s been some time since I’ve done a club meeting and to say I enjoyed myself today would be an understatement. It’s always good seeing some old faces at the track and having a good old catch up. Super relaxed atmosphere and the weather played ball aswell.

Now to the racing
The jc10 is a beast !!!
I made a few changes through the day mainly camber link positions and lower shock positions.
Not a bad result for the first outing.
