Watercolour classes in East Leake

✨️Fancy dipping your toes into the art of Watercolours? Need a creative reset? Low-pressure, pocket-friendly watercolour afternoons are coming to East Leake!✨️

Hello neighbours! I’m Jenny from The Little Hollow Studio, based right here in East Leake.

I know how hectic life can get, so I am launching a series of gentle, 90 minute pop-up watercolour sessions designed completely around relaxation, mindfulness, and the beauty of nature.

✅️There is absolutely no drawing experience needed and zero pressure to be perfect.

Tickets are just £15 per person, paints, paper and brushes are provided.

🖌You are welcome to bring along your own materials if you have them!

🥤Be aware you will need to bring your own refreshments to keep hydrated.

🎨 What we will do:
Using high-quality paper and an expressive style of painting, we will dip our toes straight into the magic of watercolours. We will experiment with loose, flowing techniques—watching vibrant pigments blend and bloom to create beautiful work that you can take home.

💜Perfect for:
Parents looking for a peaceful break before the school run, retirees, or anyone wanting a cozy, creative afternoon to decompress.

💜 Our First Pop-Up Session: is on Monday the 22nd June

• 📅 When: Monday term time from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

• 📍Where: East Leake Leisure Centre (Studio Room)

• 💰Price: £15 (includes all paints, brushes, and paper)

Spaces are kept to a small group, so everyone gets plenty of guidance. To grab a spot or ask a question, drop a comment below or email me on [email protected].

RIP black Mushroom table.

Unfortunately due to space limitations I have had to keep the black mushroom table in my conservatory and it has not survived the extreme temperatures we've had over the last couple of weeks we've gone from hail and it being below 10° to 35.

So the table is so warped it is ruined as a table. The lacker coating is also chipping away. I am pretty devastated. This whole project took me about a week to do. I worked in the evenings I did my best to save it from landfill. I just don't want the whole time that I've spent on it to be a waste I actually really like it as well.

in the conservatory it's not as well insulated so it gets colder than the rest of the house and it gets hotter than the rest of the house because it is essentially a greenhouse.

So I've learned a valuable lesson but now I need your help to see if there's anything else I can do to rescue this table. Even if it is not used as a table has anyone got any other ideas so that I can save all of the work that I put into the top of it.

I'm all ears.

Big love

My part 3 of my behind a market preparation series.

I hope you've all enjoyed this series and if this helped anybody then please let me know!

If you've got any questions or suggestions then also please put them in the comments I welcome anything really.

This video is basically about me talking about the stock damage and the debate about taking expensive things to a market and if there's actually anyone that will buy it and the gamble that you take as a creator to risk the item.

To taking it to a market and the hope that it will speak to somebody and that they will buy it and making sure that on the way that it's not damaged or on the way home.

It's always going to be a balance of risk as somebody who hasn't got a full-time shop or anywhere that they can display a lot of their work. So for now I guess it's just gonna have to continue to be a gamble whether I take original art pieces with me.

If anyone is going to the Burton on Trent vegan market tomorrow and they like any of my original work please let me know and I'll wing it in the van tonight!

Big love
