We were honoured today to have a visit from the great Garry Birtles. In town before celebrating his 70th birthday later with ex teammates, he came in with his family. Cheryl had made a lovely display of old football annuals in the window and he spotted these two which both had him in the photos.
The Trevor Francis annual shows Francis's European Cup winning goal and Garry Birtles is the Forest player behind him in the photo.
A true Nottingham Forest legend and a lovely bloke.
