Well, this was a nice surprise on a 5wt rod at Toft Newton today. Estimated weight around 8-9lbs. It took a black buzzer under a b**g !

Toft is fishing it's head off at the moment. They're going crazy on the buzzers and the dries. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic day at Toft Newton today. 20 to the boat with many more lost and numerous pulls.
Fish were absolutely everywhere. A small match of 11 people produced 147 fish, including some absolute crackers like this one caught by Paul Hawkins.

Fantastic help and support provided by Andy Hutson too.

What an absolute pleasure to visit the idyllic Withern Mill Trout Fishery last weekend. A warm, friendly welcome, reasonable prices and good fishing means that it's a fantastic place to spend a day. Thank you to everyone at for a great day out.
