The best way to spend 24 hours in Norwich on 7 June?
Start slow with breakfast and coffee at No.33 Café Bar, wander the lanes and lose yourself in Norwich’s brilliant independent shops, then make your way to the Norwich Ceramics Market at The Forum — a full day of handmade pots, clay creatures, good people and proper community spirit. Grab lunch from Grosvenor Fish Bar, stop by Lazy Lobster for gifts, prints and beautiful things you didn’t know you needed, then round the day off with dinner at Birch. A whole day built around local, independent businesses — good food, thoughtful shopping, handmade craft and the kind of places that give Norwich its character.

Where would you go? What do you love most about Norwich — and who would you bring along for the day? ✨🖤

The Norwich Ceramics Market is at The Forum from 9–4 — one day only Sunday 7th June, brought to you by the Homegrown Pottery Society.

The sun finally came out and I have good lighting so I thought I’d see how the tiles look outside. I’m in love with this glaze! What do you think? Which design do you like best? These are inspired by the beautiful architecture and carvings at the Natural History museum

Introducing the Homegrown Pottery Society 🌿
A community rooted in making, creativity, and doing things the slow, meaningful way. We’re all about clay, connection, and celebrating the beauty of work made by hand.

Our locally printed T-shirts are an extension of that ethos — thoughtfully designed by Roisin O’Donnell and made close to home. Wear it as a badge of belonging, creativity, and homegrown pride. ✨ apply for our next market, get the tee or just use on your socials when showing the amazing things you create!

As the year wraps up, we just want to say thank you 🤍
The first Norwich Ceramics Market was more than a market — it was great conversations, incredible makers, and clear proof that people really do want handmade, local and independent ceramics.

Out of that day, the Homegrown Pottery Society took shape — potters and artists choosing to do things their own way, backing each other, sharing space, and building something slowly and honestly.

To mark it, the Homegrown Pottery Society T-shirts landed — designed by Roisin O’Donnell and printed locally by Vinosangres. Some sizes have already sold out, and this is a limited run, so if you want one, don’t hang about.

We’re already looking ahead to the next market on Sunday 7 June.
Thanks for being part of it.
See you next year.

We make our own.
