Retail is hard, it's tough times out there for everyone, and as the owner of a small independent shop, it's easy to fall into the trap of opening every single day to try and maximise sales, but what I've found is that taking time for myself is just as important, especially as we head towards the 'Ber months.

September to Decemeber is our busiest time and I want to make sure I'm at my best for the crazy season, so going forward, the shop will be closed on Sunday's.

I'll probably still be working on the admin, ordering etc (I don't know when to stop - ask my husband!)

We'll be open as usual from 10:00am tomorrow so please do pop by.

Productive meeting this afternoon with digital_dopamine_daventry making plans for the next 6 months.

End of summer sales, Halloween promo, 1st birthday celebrations, the run up to Christmas (yes, I said the C word 🙈)
