I’ll go first…

Using a zip foot and stabiliser to create a perfect curve on a flap.

I’ve never forgotten it and it’s a tip I still use regularly! 😃

Maybe we should buy a fridge just for fusible stabilisers 😆
Remember to keep your fusible stabilisers in a cool place so you don’t have one solid block when the time comes to use them 😅 it’s not something we usually have to think about in the UK, but this heatwave is really revealing some things 🤣
Watch out for radiators and leaving your newly purchased stabilisers in a hot car too!🔥

Each step is important I guess (well, maybe not the hoovering part 😅).
Who else thought there’d be mainly sewing involved when making a bag??
Instead, there’s a little bit of sewing and a lot more of cutting, ironing, unpicking! And tidying up before you get that finished bag 🤣

Adding a scrap piece of stabiliser behind your rivet is a simple, quick way to give them extra support.
It’s these little unseen parts of bag making that make sure your handmade bags stand up to the test of time 😃

And now you know what to do with those little bits of stabiliser you can’t bring yourself to throw away 🤣
