Twinkle Textiles Using a variety of fabrics, I combine machine applique with hand stitching to make cards and gifts These are cards you will want to keep forever.

Working from my wooden cabin at the bottom of the garden, I design and create beautiful textile cards and gifts. Each card is lovingly handmade from different fabrics, no prints and finished with buttons, beads or sequins. They are a standard size so will fit most high street frames, making them a lasting memory of the occasion they were gifted for. Framed pictures, tote bags, keyrings, bookmarks

🤍Once upon a time a young English girl left her family farm to study in a large Welsh city, where she met a young Scottish boy. A few years later they got married and went onto have two amazing sons. 🤍

This week we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a lovely spa break and hope to enjoy a few treats over the next 12 months.

Back to normal tomorrow with Thursday market day in Nantwich and the weather is looking favourable ☀️

Thank you so much for all the love you have shown Twinkle Textiles this week.

It's been so lovely welcoming you to the stall, and I really enjoy the chats we have with returning customers, some of whom have been with me from the start, new customers as well as quests from Crewe Hall , Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa and Alvaston Hall.

Today at World of Wedgwood Artisan Market listening to comments as people discover the stall for the first time is so uplifting, and to see customers following me from Nantwich Market was such a lovely surprise.

With not being at the market on Thursday due to the awful rain it gave me some extra time to work on a project I have been planning for awhile.

There is still some work to do, but I'm hoping to bring something NEW to the stall in the next few weeks. 👀

But for now I'm taking a break for a few days and will back at Nantwich outdoor market on Thursday 18th June.

As we are heading into the wedding season I have reintroduced the ' Wedding Dress' card to the range.

After missing from the collection for nearly two years I'm really pleased to say it is back. 🙌

This card is really popular with the mother of the bride and future mother-in-law.

🤍🤍They buy the card and write pearls of wisdom inside for the bride. A very special card for the bride to open on her wedding day as she gets ready 🤍🤍

The reason for the delay in making more, I ran out of fabric I used for the dress and it took a while to source more.

I'm pleased to say I have now made lots 🙂

These are unique cards, each flower is made individually with a variety of different fabrics/colours.
