Delighted to have Lyndsay in the Gallery she is a glass artist based in Handbridge, Chester. 

After a career as a physiotherapist, Lyndsay is now enjoying being able to focus on her glass art. 

Her work is largely abstract and inspired by the vibrant colours and textures arising through the firing process. Her pieces are created by fusing several layers together with coloured glass chips, powders, paints and copper wire sandwiched between the layers. This tends to create bubbles as air is trapped within the layers creating interesting and unusual textures and reflections. She also uses sandblasting and engraving to add detail to the surface of many of her pieces. 

She makes a range of glass art pieces including wall hung panels, free standing curves
