We are greatly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Graham Mitchell, owner of Room 17

Tributes have been paid to a well-known Market Harborough businessman who died following a crash near Church Langton. Graham Mitchell, who ran the menswear store Room 17 on Adam and Eve Street, was riding his motorbike on the B6047 when it was involved in a collision with a vehicle on May 28th.

Meet our first tawny owlet of 2026!

This little one arrived with us after being found on the ground.

Although it can be normal for tawny owlets of the ‘branching’ phase to be on the ground, this little one was far too young and in need of some assistance.

He is now being cared for by our team and will eventually be released back into the wild once he is older and wiser!

As you may be aware we are having a sabbatical from our public guided walks this year, apart from the Ghost and Chistmas Walks now available for booking through our website.
However, since January, I have been very busy with private guided walks and talks and last Sunday I presented the Story of Harborough guided walk to a lovely group of caravaning and motorhome enthausiasts staying locally.
