"Beloved Cornwall"
Blessed to have grown up in a farming community on the edge of Bodmin Moor and now enjoying life by the sea in Bude, my creations are inspired by life in Cornwall and handmade with love for you.

New tools arrived today! Anyone want to guess what they are for? I haven't tried them yet, so I'll see if they do make my life easier or not once I get chance later. I know how to rock'n'roll on a Friday night, lol!

This afternoon is our village annual revel, which is always held in the first Monday following the 12th August, the feast of St Marwenne. According to ancient custome the Revel Queen is crowned by Father Time, as a representative of St Marwenne, the Celtic Saint who brought Christianity to the village in the sixth century.

My role for the afternoon was to sell the buttonholes that a few of us enjoyed making at the church yesterday morning. They were so pretty and pleased to report I sold them all 😊

Here are just a few photos I took of the proceedings. After being crowned the queen rides a white horse to the village park where the revel entertainment takes place. Despite some brooding clouds looming the weather has been just perfect! Well done team Marhamchurch Revel for all your effortπŸ‘

Yesterday whilst working at Fifty Crates of Crafts - Bude
I had the pleasure of meeting many lovely dogs but this handsome chap caught my eye, wearing his Cornish Tartan bandana! When I commented his owners said they bought it from this shop so I had to tell them it was made by my own fair hands! Apparently Jasper also has a long tie and bow tie, and they have keyrings, labels on their luggage and bunting all round their kitchen! I was so pleased I'd met them and we had a lovely chat and it was a real pleasure to meet Jasper, what a fabulous model he makes 😊

Sorry for the absence, the last few days have been crazy! Today I am working in the fabulous where I am having a wonderful time chatting to customers, whilst enjoying the cool fan and chillout music! 😌

Here is my bunting as you enter the shop, wishing our customers what? πŸ€”πŸ˜Š

Sunday Snapshot πŸ“·

Ok, so this one is a little bit naughty really (1. language, 2. vandalism) but this is very funny πŸ˜„

So, a while back the word Marhamchurch disappeared off the sign and it was just left blank pointing to nowhere! And then this appeared.... 🀣🀣

I keep driving past it and today I decided it would be my snapshot. Hope it gives you a giggle too 🀭
