HOW COULD I REFUSE (Triptych) 2022, Embroidered thread on PVC canvas
These pieces explore the theme of consent - on both an arbitrary level, like not being able to say no to your children's request for more jelly, and a more serious level, like not being able to say no to somebody who you feel is overstepping or deliberately disregarding your boundaries.
