*Deep breath*
I suppose now is as good a time as ever to announce that I'll be winding down Kintsugi Clothing over the next few months. As you may have noticed, I haven't been posting as frequently on our social media channels lately. Being a company owner is so often heart-wrenching, especially when you run out of the money and mental resilience to keep driving forward. Kintsugi is a one-woman band; something that was initially exciting, but then became a burden too heavy to manage. Seeing this company fail to reach the potential I know it's capable of has been so difficult. Under the right management and with some external investment, I know it would do so much better. But, for a long time, it's felt like I'm pushing something heavy towards a ledge that's too high for me to reach alone, and my arms are giving way. We haven't reached a definitive decision about the stock we are still holding (now is not the time to be coy about MOQs in this industry, which create a huge level of risk). We are in talks with a couple of companies and I know we will reach a satisfactory outcome one way or another BUT in the meantime, please help us out by buying something. Even if it's just a pin badge. Or by sharing our website with your friends. Thank you for all of your support over the years. It might not have succeeded, but I'm proud to have tried.
