🎄 Winter & Christmas Community Food Support ⛄️

🥶 As the colder months settle in, we know that times can be a little tougher for some families.

🥕 While our usual veg boxes are locally grown during the season, we’re continuing to support our community this winter, and through Christmas, with food boxes containing vegetables and a protein source; Welsh produce but not locally sourced from Maesteg.

🙌 They’re here to help keep good food on the table during the colder months.

🍲 If you or someone you know could use a little extra help, please don’t hesitate to message this page, everything will be handled confidentially and with kindness, no questions asked.

CHRISTMAS PARADE - 2ND DECEMBER 2023
Following on from the success of the Christmas Parade in 2022, Maesteg Town Council are happy to advise that we have engaged with epm MARKETING to manage the Christmas Parade on Saturday 2nd December 2023.

SANTA'S GROTTO
Maesteg Town Council have engaged with Production 78 to bring Santa's Grotto on Saturdays and Sundays from 18th November until 17th December - tickets will be available soon.

CHRISTMAS TREES
This year Maesteg Town Council are funding Christmas trees in Caerau, Garth, Maesteg Park and Nantyffyllon.

OTHER CHRISTMAS EVENTS
- Performances in the Market Square on Saturdays
- Tea / Coffee/ Hot Chocolate & Mince Pies during performances
- selection boxes to the 8 primary schools within the valley
- gift bags to residents in Bryncelyn, Tŷ Llwynderw & Tŷ Newydd
- Shop window display competition (Commercial St & Talbot St)
