Great news … the schedules for this year’s show are now with the printers.

All the details of the show, all the class information and entry forms are there for you ..

The show will be more or less the same as in previous years with just a few small changes.

Saturday 20th June sees our first fundraiser of the year with our grand bingo - in the Club - eyes down at 8pm.

Last Flower Show post of the year … thanks for joining in or coming along on Sunday to make the show another great success.
The marquee was very busy during the afternoon and I hope you agree it looked wonderful.
We had an absolutley outstanding 208 individual entrants putting in an amazing 1,124 exhibits which is a truly great effort for a village our size.
We had great fun in the evening with the auction returning our record ever receipts so thanks for donating your exhibits it’s makes such a great difference.

The marquee has been booked for next year’s show which will take place on Sunday 6th September.
If you have any ideas for changes to classes do let me know - we’ll certainly be changing any other veg to also include any other fruit … like pears … Thanks to all …

After a great effort by all the team the show is now open.

Thanks to everyone who has entered the show this year … it’s going to be a great one again…more people and more entries than last year ….

The absolute latest the show will be open to the public … which is free of course … will be 2:30pm

We will almost certainly be open before this but i can’t be more precise as it depends on when the judging is complete … be assured as soon as the judging is competed and all 411 certificates have been written out we will open.

The signs at the club (which is open from 12:30pm for teas, coffees, BBQ & brass band playing) will show when we are open and I’ll also post on here.

Exhibitors … please note that bacon butties are back on the field this year !

So todays the day to ensure that you have your entry form submitted. Thanks to all who have already done so.
Either post it through the show secretary’s door - 22 Tunnicliffe Road. (down by the village shop) before 7pm or then drop it into the Ex-Servicemen’s Club this evening, we’ll be there between 7pm & 10pm.
Still considering having a go this year .. please do … it’s a big marquee that we’d love to see full - everything you need can be found on the website
