Suwada is a blacksmithing company, founded in 1926 in Sanjo, Japan. It quickly grew by making pliers that were in high demand at the time. In 1948 the company switched to making beauty products and bonsai tools. Some of the world's best nail nippers, tableware, and garden hand tools are made by Suwada's highly skilled craftspeople. The designs were refreshed over the years and have won more than 2

0 awards in Japan and internationally in the last fifteen years. At the core of its identity, Suwada is the perseverance of perfection, for home objects. Any tool can do a job, but a perfect one will change the way you think about a routine, like cooking, eating, opening a bottle of wine, etc. In 2011 Suwada set up an office in London at the request of our customers. You can easily find our products on our webshop, as well as through a few handpicked stores that share our philosophy of love for craftsmanship.

Offering a business card allows the person in front of you to remember your name and occupation easily. It's helpful to carry a few of them with you. This light case made of brass and copper can take 10-12 business cards and has been colored by hand using old manufacturing techniques.
