Celebrate World Iced Tea Day with a timeless classic. Bright citrus, floral honey and refreshing Ceylon tea come together in this simple yet refreshing serve.
Ingredients
• 4 Ceylon teabags
• 600ml water
• 100g honey or agave
• 100g sugar
• 100ml water (for syrup)
• 125ml fresh lemon juice
• Ice
• Lemon slices
Method
• Combine the honey, sugar & water to make a syrup.
• Brew 4 teabags in 500ml water for 10 minutes, remove the teabags & allow the tea to cool.
• Fill a tall glass with ice.
• Add honey syrup & fresh lemon juice.
• Top with 150ml brewed tea and stir well.
• Garnish with fresh lemon slices & serve.
