Cultural Traffic and The Mott Collection

Cultural Traffic and The Mott Collection British Punk on Paper Open and free for all to visit, Cultural Traffic offers an opportunity to engage in the past, present and future of counterculture.

Cultural Traffic is a fair for dealers in counterculture and independent producers to trade books, zines, prints, catalogues, vinyls and tapes in both current and obsolete format. By bringing together pioneering contemporary publishing with vintage counterculture and out-of-print material, Cultural Traffic paves an express connection between yesterday’s cultural artefacts and the latent collectabl

es of tomorrow. It is a market for the culturally inquisitive which showcases a unique perspective on counterculture’s pre-internet roots. Cultural Traffic is an ongoing exploration into the flourishing post-digital zine scene. Mission

Cultural Traffic is driven by the punk ethic of self publishing, where vintage DIY counterculture meets current progressive discourse. Cultural Traffic presents an exciting dynamic marketplace for the global resurgence that is happening in self publishing now. This movement is at the forefront of today’s critical voices, embracing the power of print as a catalyst for social change and a platform for expression and diversity. There is material at entry level affordability giving collectors the opportunity to engage with current social issues outside the financial restraints of the elitist gallery system. Cultural Traffic is not just an arts fair for paper, but a celebration of ideas and expression. Cultural Traffic paves the way for exposure and engagement in radical print now.
