I picked this up when Call of Duty decided to go full futuristic with Advanced Warfare. At the time it felt like a proper shift, exo movement, boost jumps, a completely different pace, and a campaign that actually felt like a big budget action film. I remember being curious more than anything, like, alright then, show me what Call of Duty looks like in the future, and it didn’t disappoint.

What I always associate with this one is how fast it feels. Once you get used to the exo suit movement, everything changes, flanking routes, gunfights, even the way you think about maps. It’s one of those games where you can tell instantly whether someone’s played it before, because the movement becomes second nature and you end up flying around like it’s normal.

This is the complete 2 disc set, game disc plus the install disc, and everything has been kept together in the original case. I’ve always preferred keeping multi disc games complete and properly presented rather than mixing cases or losing bits, it’s just nicer for the next person and it looks better on the shelf. The Season Pass insert is also included, which is a nice extra to have with the original contents.

I’m selling it now purely because I’m clearing space and streamlining what I keep. I’ve built up a big Xbox 360 collection over the years, and rather than have this sat stored away long term, I’d rather it go to someone who’ll actually replay it, collect it as part of the Call of Duty lineup, or just wants that proper nostalgia hit from the later 360 era when games started pushing into the futuristic trend.

I picked this up when Call of Duty, Ghosts first dropped, because it felt like the start of a new chapter after the Modern Warfare run. The cover alone had that moody, gritty vibe, and at the time it was one of those games everyone wanted to try, new story, new multiplayer feel, and that “let’s see what this era is about” energy that comes with a fresh COD release.

What I remember most is how it became a proper Xbox 360 staple in my stack. It was the sort of game you’d throw on when you wanted that familiar Call of Duty pacing, but with a slightly different tone, a bit darker, a bit more tactical in places, and loads of moments that just felt very “2013 COD”, in the best nostalgic way.

I picked this up back when Modern Warfare 3 was the big “end of an era” moment on Xbox 360. It felt like the conclusion to that whole MW1, MW2 story run that everyone had been following, and at the time it was one of those releases where you just knew the lobbies were going to be packed. You’d boot it up and instantly get that familiar adrenaline, the menus, the sound design, the whole vibe, it’s pure peak 360 Call of Duty.

What I remember most is how MW3 nailed that balance, the campaign felt like a proper blockbuster, Spec Ops was still there for the co op sessions, and multiplayer had that fast, addictive loop that made the hours disappear. It was the kind of game you’d tell yourself you’d play for half an hour, then suddenly it’s midnight and you’re still chasing “one more win”.

This copy has been kept complete, case, disc, and the original booklet all together. I always prefer keeping 360 games properly presented rather than disc only, it looks better on the shelf and it’s nicer for the next collector or player as well. It’s one of those Xbox 360 era titles that instantly brings back late nights, headset on, and the same maps running on repeat because nobody wanted to switch.
