Unfortunately, before we have even opened our doors, our new shop has been the target of an attempted break-in.
Overnight damage was caused to our glass entrance door by someone attempting to gain entry to the premises.Thankfully, they were unsuccessful,but it is disappointing to see a community focused project targeted in this way before we have had the chance to begin serving local people.
Despite this setback, we remain positive and are working hard to get everything ready for opening on 2nd July.
If anyone witnessed anything suspicious in the area or has any information that may help, please contact the police.
