We posted this last year before the election - but it's so important now! Our worst fears about our poorly managed healthcare system are being exposed with horrible consequences. Coronavirus is a huge threat to public health, but the climate crisis is a much, much bigger threat that will desperately need a strong healthcare system. Please write to, or tweet your MP showing them your concern, we can't let the government think we're happy to just clap for the NHS - we need answers!

I hope you are well, despite the current chaos.
I am writing to tell you how concerned I am about the NHS. This pandemic has proven that the NHS is severely underfunded, mismanaged and unprepared for a global crisis. Seeing as the government has been very aware of multiple predictions from scientists about pandemics, and has yet not bolstered or prepared the NHS for crises like these, I don't hold much hope for a strengthened NHS in the face of a climate crisis.
As you probably know, the climate crisis will heighten the spread of infectious disease and put public health at risk on many other counts. I would like to know what you are doing, going forward to protect the NHS and how you are planning to ensure it's safety and protection?
