Not flashy words — just the things people actually care about when work is happening in their home.

Outdoor timber needs more than a quick wash. 🌿🪵

Decking is exposed all year round — UV, rain, moisture, foot traffic, algae, dirt build-up and movement in the boards all affect how the timber looks and performs.

For a proper decking refresh, the process starts with assessment:
checking the condition of the boards,
looking for loose fixings,
identifying worn areas,
and making sure the timber is suitable for sanding and treatment. 🛠️

From there, the surface is cleaned and prepared before sanding removes the weathered top layer and helps open the grain for the protective finish.

The right finish matters too.
It helps protect the timber, improve resistance to moisture, and bring back the natural colour without hiding the character of the wood. ✨

Good decking care is not just cosmetic.
It is preparation, protection and maintenance — done properly so the outdoor space is ready to be used again.

Monday again — and honestly, not a bad place to start. 🪵✨

New floors to look at.
Machines ready.
Coffee probably somewhere nearby.
And a week of proper work ahead. ☕🛠️

Some jobs will be straightforward.
Some will need a bit more patience.
Some floors will make everyone stop and say, “Right… where do we begin?”

But that’s part of the pleasure of it.

There’s something good about taking a tired floor, understanding what it needs, and leaving it in better shape than when the team arrived.

No big drama.
No Monday moaning.

Just good work, steady hands, and floors ready for a fresh start. 👍

Not quite right → much better. 🪵✨

A floor doesn’t always need a dramatic rescue mission.
Sometimes it just needs someone to look at it and say, “Right, we can improve that.”

This kitchen floor had good timber underneath, but the finish was making the whole space feel a bit heavy and tired.

So the job was simple in theory — but precise in practice:
sand it properly,
prepare the surface evenly,
bring back a lighter, cleaner tone,
and finish it so it actually suits the room. 🛠️

No fuss.
No unnecessary drama.
Just a floor brought back into line with the space around it.

And to be fair… much better is putting it politely. 😄
