Urb-it is looking for a Mechanic to join our team in London.

We are looking for a self-motivated member to join the Physical Operations team reporting directly to the Fleet coordinator in London. This position is crucial to our continued growth, and this individual will play a major role in shaping how we ensure success in our daily physical operations. What you’ll do:
• Ensure our fleet of new and existing cargo bikes are maintained to a high and safe standard
• Regularly carrying out fleet inspections to ensure they remain in good condition and operational
• Recording all checks, servicing, and maintenance to allow costing and budgeting to be informed
• Tracking spare parts and tools required to maintain the fleet and to make sure adequate stock is available to ensure continuous operations with minimal disruption
• Informing the fleet coordinator and operational development team of mechanical and maintenance requirements where necessary
