‘The Double Helix’ by James D. Watson, signed by Maurice Wilkins three months after publication in 1968. Available for sale - link to in bio.

Maurice Hugh Frederick Wilkins was a New Zealand-born British biophysicist whose is best known for his work at King's College London on the structure of DNA.

In 1951–52, Wilkins produced clear "B form" "X" shaped images from squid s***m, images he sent to James Watson and Francis Crick, causing Watson to write "Wilkins... has obtained extremely excellent X-ray diffraction photographs" [of DNA].

The has been out on travels again hunting for books, this time to city of . His trusty stead of a , carefully lent against The Eagle and Child in St Giles’ Street. The pub is famous for being the the Monday and Tuesday lunchtime meetings place of - out in the private lounge at the back of the pub called the Rabbit Room.

The Inklings was an informal Oxford literary group which included , , Charles Williams, Owen Barfield, Nevill Coghill and Hugo Dyson.

Available for sale (to be listed shortly DM if interested) is a letter from Nevill Coghill to ‘Mr Page’ from 20 April 1966 on , Oxford headed note paper. Coghill was an English literary scholar, known especially for his modern English version of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.

is an autobiographical children's novel by , published in 1935. It was the third novel published in the series, continuing the story of the first, Little House in the Big Woods (1932), but not related to the second. The "Little House" Books is based on her childhood and adolescence in the between 1870 and 1894. Eight of the novels were completed by Wilder, and published by Harper & Brothers.

During the 1970s and early 1980s, the television series Little House on the Prairie was loosely based on the Little House books, and starred as Laura and as her father, Charles Ingalls.
