B A N K H O L I D A Y ~ 🌞🌞🌞 Bonus Jewellery day 🙌

As H17 is on the side of my day job, (Eyewear designer by day🤓) I usually end up working parts of the weekends and evenings as well as my “Jewellery Fridays” it’s never quite enough to do all the things on my list.

This bank holiday was quite chilled with a few fun plans over the weekend with friends and family but Monday was partly free, so I got a Bonus Jewellery Day!

My task for the day - Complete the final waxes for my new collection to stay on track for my shoot at the end of June with .photography

I get to be on set this time so ill take you with me! 📸✨

W O R K S H O P F R I D A Y S 🌞〰️ Hot planning session in the workshop today, to get all the pieces for the new collection ready in time for my photoshoot at the end of June with .photography

That night seem a while away, but some pieces are still in my head. They need to be modelled in wax, prototypes, moulds made, finish into a bearable piece and plated.

I use skilled crafts people in Hatton Garden to help me cast and plate, and each of these processes can take a week or two of all goes to plan. So, I have to carefully plan to make sure I can hit the deadlines at each stage so I can get the parts of the process that are out of my hands, scheduled on time. 🤪✨

S L O W M A D E J E W E L L E R Y ✨〰️ Each piece starts with and idea and evolves as I work with the wax, it doesn’t always go to plan and sometimes many iterations are needed.

Each piece tells its own story to resonate with the wearer. Jewellery is more than decoration, it holds memories, marks moments, and connects us to the people we love.

Last week I held another workshop at and it was such a lovely evening.

A group of five, the perfect size to give everyone the time and space they needed. Everyone experimented, played with ideas, and landed on something that felt connected to.

Three of the group were celebrating a friend’s birthday, chipping in to gift her a talisman as a birthday treat. Honestly, what a great birthday gift if I do say so. 🥹
