These crisis situations bring out the best and the worst in people."

As well as our Stand out entry for April - we want to celebrate two honourable mentions. The first honourable mention is bp Maidstone. 🏆

Lauren's fantastic entry shone a light on how as a team, they've pulled together through the fuel crisis, sometimes dealing with unkind customers, to still offer excellent service with a smile. She says, "Our amazing team supported each other in a dignified and calm manner at all times and got us all through it by sticking together."

Thrilled to announce our winner for July and the last monthly winner before the final next week is... Nisa Retail Halliwell Road, Bolton. 🎉

As well as having a refurb during the pandemic, they were able to keep all their staff on, as well as introducing new in-store tech and products.

They've also been helping homeless charities and supplying PPE equipment to schools and the community.

Well done Nisa Retail Bolton! 💙

Announcement: Proud of My Store June WINNER! 🎉

Congratulations to the New Look, Newry Steet, Banbridge store who delivered an exceptional customer experience and a fantastic entry.

Store Manager Danielle went above and beyond for a customer who confided they were currently in the transitioning stage of one gender to another, therefore anxious about coming into the store to try on clothes. Danielle helped the customer to select items, reserved a fitting room and told the customer she would wait for them to try on and then offer her opinion and help select the products.

Well done to Danielle and the whole Banbridge New Look store team 💙

🎉 A massive congratulations to our second monthly winner... Co-op Gidea Park, Romford! 🎉

Store Manager Claire Saunders says, as well as helping the community throughout the pandemic, their store was targeted by a gang and they've seen an increase in shoplifting. Overcoming these challenges is something to be incredibly proud of. 💙

A donation has been made to their chosen charity Mind who are doing great and important work for people living with mental health problems.

Massive congratulations to our WINNER for April... The Cakery 🍰

The independent cake shop shared its story of the brutal impact of COVID-19 on its small retail business and just how proud it was of the team's response.

A donation was made to their chosen charity Place2Be who work with pupils, families and staff in UK schools to provide mental health support. 💙

Congratulations again and well done to The Cakery Leamington Spa!
