Another great

Thanks to everyone who supported our small business by buying our products and showing interest in what we do.

It was nice to see some of our new products selling well; particularly the head cement / varnish bottle holders.

Look forward to seeing everyone in 2025!

We’ve been making these for a while but only sell them by request. However as a few more people are asking we have added our A6 notebook / journal to the website. Available in different styles (rustic and classic) and colours, there should be an option to suit every taste. We’ve also listed our top bound journal. Links in bio.

We are pleased to launch our new fly tying tool holder / caddy. Handmade with high quality rustic full grain leather with a waxy “pull-up” which means it has a lovely waxy finish that it becomes a lighter colour when folded or scratched, which adds to the unique character. A rub with a finger will get rid of any light scratches and marks, or just let it age naturally. It really does age beautifully and is very hard wearing. Available in a choice of colours. Full details on our website (link in bio).

As the trout season draws to a close, here are a few highlights of my 2022 season.

I didn’t get out as much this year due to work and family commitments. That said I’ve fished a fair bit and it was a very enjoyable season with many highlights.

Fish of the season is the first fish you’ll see here; a wild Avon brownie from a stretch of water that is very special to me for many reasons.

The next picture is my first fish of the season on the first day of the season with from my local river; The Wandle. This was my best ever Wandle trout.

The seasons was almost ruined by a trip to the north of England to see but that proved to be quite good in the end so all was not lost. The third picture is a belter of a fish from a secret location which took me to. That was a great day. I also caught my first salmon!

There were also some very large stockies caught on the chalk streams. None bigger than Roger’s 9lb+ monster (weighed). Great fun.

I also had some other memorable days with great friends and introduced my friend Ram to fly fishing. We’ve been meaning to do it for years. He’s hooked. That was great.

Tight lines folks.

Very pleased to announce the launch of a new product in collaboration with fellow member .

Our strap / sling for nets is ideal when fishing light, without a pack or waders to attach your net to.

The strap is designed so the net sits against your back with the handle of the net inserted into the leather loop (preventing it from moving around). The net is secured to the strap using a magnetic release. The net is easily returned to the strap once a fish has been landed.

See our website for details (link in bio).

We’ve upgraded our popular yearbook wallet so it is more adaptable and works for a wider range of range of uses.

Our hand stitched fishing club yearbook wallet / leader wallet / general fly wishing wallet is designed for A6 size yearbooks and leaders. Measuring 19 cm (7 1/8′) x 12 cm (4 1/3′) when closed, it can hold 3, 50 page yearbooks and some extra sheets of folded paper for extra maps.

It is handmade with a choice of different coloured Badalassi Carlo Pueblo leather which has a slightly rough feel. When this has been used over time it will naturally become silky smooth and have a natural patina. This change in texture and colour is shown in the colour options picture.

Available in a choice of leather and thread colours to suit most tastes. The pictured wallet is grey with dark blue stitching.
Leather colours: Dark Brown, Light Brown, Grey, Green, Blue and Red

Tread colours: Dark Brown, Beige, Green, Dark Red, Dark Blue, Dark Grey, Light Grey

Option for makers mark outside (as per pictured wallet), inside (see gallery) or without.

We’ve made a few updates to our very popular floatant holder. We’re starting to introduce different coloured Badalassi Carlo Pueblo leather across our range and thought this would be a good place to start! This leather has a lovely rustic appearance and has a slightly rough feel, however when this has been used over time it will naturally become silky smooth and have a natural patina. This change is texture and colour is shown in the colour options picture.

We’ve also taken the opportunity to tweak the design a bit by making the strap that fits over the bottle a bit wider which, as well as making it fit the bottle nice and snugly, means we can get an extra row of stitching in which is never a bad thing.

Very proud to have been asked by Mustad to create a number of branded fly wallets and amadou patches. We’re rather pleased with how they have turned out.

They’re being used as part of a marketing campaign and are on their way to Norway as we speak.

We’re happy to brand any of our items for client gifts, corporate events, marketing campaigns etc (as long as they aren’t being re-sold).

Another special wild brown trout session yesterday on my local river in London. Great fun showing and the charm and quirkiness of this wonderful place.

Fish were caught, very big fish were lost (sorry 😩) and rods were broken.

Hopefully next time we hear the call of “big fish, big fish” ringing out from beneath that bridge, it won’t end with a broken line and that painful moment of “lost fish” silence. You’ll get that one next time

efforts were rewarded with a broken rod and a feisty last cast first Wandle trout. A very good result which many anglers on this river take a very long time to achieve.

What a great couple of hours.
