We’re Back! Excited to be back at this weekend in Stratford and also in West London in a few weeks for kids clothes AND book swapping! Bring up to 10 clothing pieces and 5 books (for kids up to age 12) and swap them at the festival! There is also an adult swap this weekend which has a unique vintage rail as well as lots of other amazing workshops and activities.

Happy Earth Day 2024 🌍🌱
Given Earth Overshoot day is almost halfway through the year, it’s nice to take a moment to try and remember / appreciate it. Read a great article by today about how fashion companies could actually reduce their GHG emissions without impacting their bottom line too significantly. If there’s financial proof and there are lasting benefits both as a brand and a business, what’s the hold up? A week in the life of running Verte… 💫 safe to say no two days are the same!

1. Perching in yet another coffee shop to do a call - complete nomad at all times (majority of time desk work is lyfe ✌🏼)
2. Me and my friend, the bin bag saving the donations from the weather after doing another clothes collection - made better by glittery socks for the win always 🧦 ☔️
3. Driving the van to pack up the shop, love being a van driver 🚐
4. Recording my first podcast 🎙️
5. Pounding the streets going to space viewings 🚶🏼‍♀️
6. Being a shopkeeper for the day 🛍️
7. Designing and receiving our new token tag system - very exciting 🏷️
8. Flyering (aka. Destroying my soul)🫣
9. Building pop up flat pack furniture - all the glamour 🔧
10. Treating myself to coffee and pastry to keep the energy going 🥐
