Black Pound Day 2.0 - The Collective

We can't be the only ones noticing the closure of yet another Black-owned business every time we open our feed. What's going on?????

In this timely post, business strategist argues that it's not that Black-owned businesses don't work but that many work ALONE - devoid of a wider Black-owned infrastructure that can enable them compete with businesses that are able to tap into that kind of support. She suggests the solution lies in Black-owned buying groups, manufacturing, distribution networks, data-sharing, credit facilities and capital.

Make SPF your BFF

How are you coping with the heat? The temperature's going to be more bearable from today but sunscreen is still a must, even if the sun's not as hot or as bright.

Our skin is our largest organ and our protective shield against harmful microorganisms and UV rays. Its health affects our overall wellbeing so look after it.
