There is SO much work in this piece. Multiple layers of resin, the pirate ship, treasure chest, gold, tentacles, positioning everything and plenty of moments where I wondered what on earth I’d started. 😂

So I’m curious…

If YOU were pricing this piece, what would you charge?

Earlier today I could see the sapphire blue, magenta and the white moving around in the mold.

What I couldn't see was what was actually happening underneath.

Now it's time to demold it.

And this is why I love experimenting with resin. You can plan the colors, but sometimes the resin has completely different ideas. would you use this color combination again?

Sapphire blue. Magenta then came the white

I could see everything starting to move, but there was absolutely no way of knowing what was actually happening underneath.
