After yesterday's lovely market at Brae Hall, I'd like to introduce myself as the new organiser of Da Muckle Market.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has supported the market so far. The kind messages and encouragement have meant a lot.

We still have our June market in Scalloway to look forward to, but the July Market at Aith Hall on 25th July will be my first market organised from start to finish, and I'm both excited and a little nervous!

If you'd like to book a table, please get in touch via the page. I'd love to hear from local makers, artists, bakers, crafters and small businesses.

What a fantastic day at Brae Hall for my last Da Muckle Market. As I’ll be heading to the mainland next month I’ll be leaving the market in very good hands as Denise will be taking over from next month🙌🏻 Thank you to everyone for supporting this new market and long may it continue🙌🏻🙌🏻

⭐️⭐️So excited to bring you the line up of local makers and sellers at next weeks market.
We have even more of variety of stalls this month, along with local live music, kids crafting corner and fresh food and drink to purchase and enjoy.⭐️⭐️

We will be over on the North West side at Brae Hall on Saturday the 30th from 11am-4pm.

Returning sellers and makers:

Lizzie Peterson Sea Joolz- selling a variety of handmade jewellery from Seaglass, shells and stones handpicked from Shetland beaches.

Jenna Murray- selling handmade crochet items and gifts.

Meleri Mair Art - original artworks and sea-combing crafts. Paint-by-number sets and vouchers for my classes and events. New Paint sets 🤩

Old to New- will be selling handmade cards, pictures and tags with buttons.

Princess Peach’s Prints - a young lassie selling 3D collectables - lots of ornaments and gifts she’s made, and some she has painted.

Roadside Bakes- selling a variety of delicious homemade bakes.

Ragnar Whitesmithing- selling a variety of handmade cast metal jewellery and miniatures.

Peerie Breeks Textiles- Previous owner of Peerie Isles selling her stock and crafts.

Aister ‘oo’- 100% native Shetland Yarn and yarn products from their Croft in Cunningsburgh.

Handmade by Haley- selling a variety of floral resin items, jewellery, earrings, trinket trays etc.

Helena Beckett - selling a variety of handmade yarns and cones of Shetland wool and acrylic in a variety of colours.

Michael’s Handmade Wooden Gifts - a variety of handmade wooden gifts.

Refreshments- we will be serving up tea/coffee, soup and sandwiches for folk to enjoy during their market visit. There will also be tables and chairs for you to sit and eat.

Maria Leask- selling a variety of pre-loved jewellery.

K.K Designs- selling a variety of handmade plant pots, trinket trays and more.

Janet Nisbet- selling a variety of her stunning artworks.

KD Crafts and Designs- selling a variety of handmade gifts and crafts.

Pauline Maddocks- selling a variety of handmade felting gifts and more.

Smiths Jewellery and Art- selling a variety of handmade jewellery and original artworks.

The market at Bixter was such a great day, thank you again to all the amazing sellers and makers and to everyone who made the effort to come support our local market😍

So excited for the market tomorrow🤩 Hall all set for the sellers to come and set up their stalls🤩
Lovely room set up for folk to relax and eat a nice bowl of homemade soup or a freshly made roll or maybe relax over a board game with a cuppa.
Space set up for kids arts and crafts. So much variety of stalls for you to peruse🤩 So hopefully we will see many of of you tomorrow at Bixter hall 11-4pm🤩
